Dance Marathon at UF announced that the Miracle in Color 5K will take place Saturday February 13th starting at 7:20AM at Flavet Field, with participants starting in eight different waves. The 5K course will run through UF campus with color stations throughout for participants to be covered in colorful powder paint. *All participants will receive a Miracles in Color 5K white t-shirt during registration. All proceeds will be donated to UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital, our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

There is also going to be a virtual 5K option this year. Virtual participants will be provided a “Race Day Bundle” including a t-shirt and colored powder for a small fee of $15 (Free Gainesville pick up or $5 shipping). Individual tickets, as well as tickets for groups of two or four are available, so grab another family member or friend and run together! Virtual registration must be completed by Thursday, February 4th to guarantee shipping arrival before February 13.

Registration is open from now until Tuesday, February 9th at 11:59 p.m. After that point, no more online registrations will be accepted. No registration will be allowed at the event due to capacity limits

*Don’t want to be colored with powder? Don’t worry – DM at UF will provide something to indicate to their color team that you want to remain clean.

Race Day Info

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled run time to be able to sign in. You will be sent a Safety Clearance and Liability Waiver Form on Friday, February 12th. Please fill this form out ahead of race day and screenshot your results.

There is parking available at Flavet Field, but please arrive early to ensure you have time to find parking and check in before your scheduled race.
