Big: Culture & Arts Festival

The highly anticipated Big: Culture & Arts Festival returns for its third annual celebration, uniting
Florida’s vibrant creative communities in downtown Gainesville on April 11-12. Hosted by Dion
Dia and How Bazar, this immersive two-day event is proudly supported by Visit Gainesville,
Alachua County as part of the county’s yearlong Discover 200 Bicentennial Celebration.
Taking place between the Porters Quarters community and South Main Street, the festival
promises an unforgettable experience packed with music, art, and interactive entertainment for
all ages. Attendees can look forward to a circus-themed extravaganza including a street fashion
show, an indoor skatepark, aerial performances, fire breathers, bounce houses, local artist
showcases, food trucks, coffee pop-ups, a drive-in movie theater experience, and much more.
A Star-Studded Lineup
This year’s festival features an eclectic mix of nationally and locally renowned artists, spanning
genres from punk to hip-hop, dream pop, and R&B. Headlining acts include:

Performances will take place across three outdoor and indoor stages, with additional sets from
artists such as Yedoye, Wiki, Animal Prince, and 00Jordie.
“From punk to hip-hop to dream pop to R&B, we intentionally curate a lineup that’s as diverse as
possible,” said co-founder Laila Fakhoury, owner of How Bazar and the record label Dion Dia
alongside co-founders Jahi and Khary Khalfani. “We want to introduce audiences to artists they
haven’t heard of and experiences they’ve only dreamed of.”
